Leonardo, a central character in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, is the tactical leader and most disciplined of the four turtles. Named after the Renaissance artist Leonardo da Vinci, he is easily identifiable by his blue mask and twin katanas.

Raised in the sewers of New York City by their adoptive father, Master Splinter, a mutated rat who taught them ninjutsu, Leonardo embodies the values of honor, courage, and self-control. He strives to be the perfect student and often bears the responsibility of keeping his more impulsive brothers in check.

Leonardo's dedication to ninjutsu and his unwavering commitment to protecting the innocent make him a formidable opponent against the forces of evil, most notably the Shredder and the Foot Clan. While his adherence to rules can sometimes cause friction with his brothers, their bond remains strong, and they ultimately respect his leadership.
